Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using The Firefighter Medic ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use The Firefighter Medic. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Account Registration and Security

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at admin@thefirefightermedic.com
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to attempt to bypass certification or licensing requirements
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to access source code
• Use automated tools to access the Service
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise platform security
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Misrepresent your credentials or affiliations

Intellectual Property

All content on The Firefighter Medic — including questions, scenarios, videos, worksheets, calculators, study guides, and instructional materials — is owned by The Firefighter Medic and protected by copyright. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to access content for your personal study use only.

Educational Purpose — Not a Substitute for Formal Training

Information on the Service is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, tactical doctrine, legal advice, or operational guidance. See our full Disclaimer for additional terms.

Subscription and Payments

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Payment is processed by Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled
• You authorize recurring charges until you cancel
• Failed payment attempts may result in account suspension after retry attempts
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You retain access until that period ends
• No prorated refunds for unused time after the initial refund window

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting admin@thefirefightermedic.com.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for actions taken by users based on information from the Service
• We are not liable for outcomes in operational or clinical settings

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Firefighter Medic, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Florida.

Dispute Resolution

You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes by contacting admin@thefirefightermedic.com. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 60 days, either party may pursue available legal remedies.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
